How many times have you had someone tell you that they posted something to your wall and you swear on ten stacks that you never saw it?
What about that great event you missed out on because you never saw the details posted to what I call your “personal” wall?
After conversations with several of my Facbook Buddies, it is clear to me that a lot of Facebook users are still not aware that their profile wall feed defaults to News Feed (what I call your “public wall”. And, just like any news feed, it feeds your wall with items from your friends, friends of your friends, fan pages that you have “liked” etc.
So, just how do you sift through all of the clutter and see when someone has specifically added something to your “personal” wall? By clicking on the PROFILE LINK at the top right side of your personal Facebook profile page. Voila! Once you are in “profile mode” you can see everything that was directed specifically at you and added to your “personal wall”, clear of the clutter of the news feed.
Here’s to an improved Facebook experience!
